Monologues

It seems like I’m missing from the face of the blog world since forever, at least that’s what Aniq thought. He told me, more like complained that each time he visits my blog, he sees the same old posts and he read my recent old post more than once already. Because of what he said, I assumed that my readership would have plunged to probably one per day. Haha! As curiosity strikes, I checked my sitemeter and it read, “average visits per day: 3” So, I guess it’s a sign for me to start my engine and rev it at appropriate occasions?

First of all, I wanna apologise to all my readers for leaving you unnotified. It sounds as If I have tons of readers. I probably have readers as many as my fingers could count, don’t even need to use my toes. Heh! Despite all the assignments that kept me occupied all the time, nearly three months away from blogging world is unacceptable. That’s exactly like how I was deprived of shopping for three whole months until two days ago. Alas, a breath of fresh air - how liberating. I felt like a fish who just got its tank cleaned after three months. Imagine all the dirt and shit that clogged the tank up and prevented my Romeo (oxygen) from rescuing me (Juliet) with a kiss of fresh air. OK. Now, I’m being overly dramatic. As taught in Malay literature, it’s known as hiperbola.

Back to reality. So where shall I begin? There’s way too many things that had happened the past three months. How am I ever going to be able to blog about everything? I’ll just have to list them down. Give me a second. I’ll need to skim through my iPhoto and Facebook statuses to recollect.

1. My sister and I got ambitious and tried making ice cream for the first time. Somehow, some way, she spoilt it and I was trying real hard to fix it. But my effort was to no avail after two grueling hours. We had to throw it away and start all over again. The amount of eggs wasted!
2. Took my mum out for dinner to celebrate her 58th birthday.
3. Catch up session with Christine, Catherine and Jocelyn
4. Somebody vandalised my car in the college parking area. I blame the college for that as it allowed students without car stickers to park in the college. Hence, lack of parking space and I was one of its unfortunate victims.
5. Catch up session with Kar Mun, Erica, Yuh Ting, Aris and Rekka
6. Sleep deprived for more than 72 hours all thanks to assignments. Now, am I a superwoman or what?
7. Got myself a voiceover job to earn extra pocket money
8. Went to Queensbay to watch The Karate Kid with my mum, aunt and sister. The movie was fantastic - a good remake from the 1984 The Karate Kid. A must-watch!
9. Went to CGL with the girls to have brunch in the canteen. It was good to see Janis, Cheng Yee, Janice and Krystle after so long. After filling our stomachs we headed to Gurney Plaza for shopping and more catching up. I was fun to give Krystle a mini makeover.
10. Went to watch Knight & Day with my sister in Queensbay. Later in the night, I joined my girls for some dancing and partying.
